Thermal protection
To protect the operator and the customer, those parts of the scissors and blade that come into contact with the body are thermally insulated.
Safety cut-off
For additional safety and for economic reasons, the heating phase of the scissors is automatically switched off after 60 minutes as long as the operation button on the control unit has not been activated in the meantime. The scissors will immediately be heated again if you operate the operating button.
Notes for selecting the right temperature
a)
1. Fine hair -100 ºC/212 ºF
2. Normal hair – 120 ºC/248 ºF
3. Thick hair - 140 ºC/284 ºF
b) Lightend hair and hair which has been exposed to permanent curl treatment immediately prior to cutting should be cut at the intended temperature of 100 ºC/212 ºF all hair types.
c) For chemically treated hair, select a temperature level lower than usual (e.g. for normal hair use 100 ºC/212 ºF rather than 120 ºC/248 ºF).
